AP on top in meeting capex targets: MP

YSRCP parliamentary party leader V. Vijayasai Reddy on Friday said Andhra Pradesh is the leading State in meeting the targeted capital expenditure (capex) targets during the current financial year.

He stated in a tweet “Andhra is #1 in terms of meeting budgeted Capex targets this fiscal. The AP Govt. is spending heavily on the creation of hard infrastructure. More than half of the budgeted Rs.31,061 crore for capital expenses has already been spent. Tunnels, roads, airports, schools, hospitals are changing the face of the State.” In a separate tweet on X, he hailed the approval of proposals at the Defence Acquisition Council. He said: “The approval of capital acquisition proposals of Rs.2.20 lakh crore from domestic industries by the Defence Acquisition Council is a big step towards ‘Atmanirbarbharta’ in defence production.”
