Treda holds 8th blood camp in Hyd
The blood donation camp, 8th in the series of the camps being organised jointly by Telangana Real Estate Developers Association (Treda), Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Seva Bharthi in association with Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and Commissionerate of Police, has been held at Atrium Mall, Gachibowli recently.

The blood donation camp, 8th in the series of the camps being organised jointly by Telangana Real Estate Developers Association (Treda), Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Seva Bharthi in association with Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and Commissionerate of Police, has been held at Atrium Mall, Gachibowli recently.
The blood donation camp organised by Treda is a good initiative and receiving good response. In the pandemic situation there is a shortage of blood availability in the hospitals, Dr Sumalatha, Telangana State vice president, Seva Bharathi, said.
There are patients who need blood on a regular basis like Thalassemia patients, elective surgery patients etc, hence the blood donation camp is a wakeup call for the youngsters to donate blood for the needy people, she added.
The blood levels are needed not only during the pandemic situation but for the whole year for the patients. A healthy person can donate blood for every 3 months. She added that, everybody should come forward and donate blood so that it can help the people who need blood.
P V Rao, Member, IACC (Andhra Pradesh & Telangana) said, many people in the Covid – 1st wave & 2nd wave suffering from other diseases face the shortage of blood. It is a fundamental responsibility of all healthy human beings to donate blood as it is a part of humanity. He added, that, many blood donation camps have been conducted by Treda in collaboration with IACC and have received good response.
R Chalapathi Rao, President, Treda, said, Treda is conducting various CSR initiatives. He added, members of Treda with their continuous efforts are taking the camps forward to help the needy people. We thank the Atrium Group, Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, SCSC, Seva Bharathi and IACC for their support. He thanked all the donors for coming forward and donating their valuable blood. He added, the blood donation camps will be continued in the future. He requested all to come forward and conduct similar Blood Camps at their place with the support of Treda and other agencies.
