Prominent cardiologist Dr. Gaurav Gandhi, hailing from Jamnagar in Gujarat, tragically passed away early this morning due to a heart attack, as per reports. At the age of 41, Dr. Gandhi had made significant contributions to the medical field, having successfully operated on over 16,000 individuals throughout his illustrious career.

According to an Aaj Tak report, Dr. Gandhi spent Monday meeting with patients as usual and later returned to his residence on Palace Road in the city. Without displaying any complaints or changes in behavior, he had dinner and retired to bed. However, when his family members attempted to wake him at 6 am the following day, they discovered him unconscious and immediately rushed him to the hospital. Unfortunately, the medical professionals declared Dr. Gandhi deceased upon arrival.

The reports reveal that Dr. Gandhi obtained his basic medical degree from Jamnagar and pursued specialization in cardiology from Ahmedabad before returning to his hometown to establish his practice. Notably, he had been actively involved in the 'Halt Heart Attacks' campaign on Facebook, demonstrating his commitment to raising awareness and preventing cardiac-related conditions.

The untimely demise of Dr. Gaurav Gandhi has left a void in the medical community, depriving it of a skilled and compassionate cardiologist.
