MEAI new team takes charge

Hyderabad Sumith Deb, NMDC CMD, has taken charge as Chairman for Hyderabad chapter of Mining Engineers Association of India (MEAI) and new organising team members were also taken the respective positions in the association in virtual.
Retired GM MS Venkat Ramayya assumed office as the Vice-chairman, Singareni PRO, Chief Lizarous as Secretary; the following assumed office for other positions: B Mahesh, Combined Secretary ADMG Swami Krishna Rao, Treasurer MHIPL PVRS Raju. The committee members were elected unanimously to the association On March 8, 2021.
On taking the charge, the new MEAI Chairman, said "MEAI has taken various steps in mining sector upliftment and mining students' skill development. The association has come forward to bring all the mining engineers on one platform, who were doing great job in the mines, contributing to national development.
On the occasion MEAI Ex-chairman Sushil Kumar said, "I thank whoever helped in achieving the goals and reaching the deadlines of the association. The new members were introduced." Association Vice Chairman MS Venkat Ramayya said "The new executive commitee has apporved Rs 50,000 to the kin of contract employee who died due to Covid.
