Aliya Fakhri arrested for double murder: "You're all going to die"

Aliya Fakhri, sister of 'Rockstar' actor Nargis Fakhri, has been arrested in connection with a double murder in Queens, New York. The 43-year-old is accused of setting a two-story garage on fire, resulting in the deaths of her ex-boyfriend, Edward Jacobs, 35, and his friend, Anastasia Ettienne, 33.

According to authorities, Aliya arrived at the garage in the early hours of November 2nd. She allegedly shouted, "You're all going to die today," at Jacobs, who was asleep upstairs. A witness, hearing her yell, saw the building engulfed in flames shortly after. District Attorney Melinda Katz confirmed the details, stating that Ettienne, upon being alerted, went downstairs but then returned to rescue Jacobs. Tragically, both succumbed to smoke inhalation and thermal injuries before they could escape.

The District Attorney's office released a statement, highlighting the severe nature of the crime and the tragic loss of life.
