Hyderabad: Schneider Electric’s ‘Innovation Yatra’ recently arrived in Hyderabad, marking the brand's 60 years in India. The Carbon Neutral Mobile Innovation Hub on Wheels engaged with stakeholders to promote sustainability. The initiative aims to connect with over 20 million customers and onboard more than 10,000 Green Yodhas. The hub showcases IoT solutions and connected offers for digitization and sustainability.
The Yatra, launched in October, has reached Hyderabad after touring several North, Central, and West Indian cities. It attracted over 400 end customers, government officials, students, channel partners, and influencers. This carbon-neutral journey will span 60+ cities in India over 6 months, highlighting Schneider Electric's 60-year journey and commitment to IoT, Electricity 4.0, Digitization, and Sustainability.
The eco-friendly hub, powered by recyclable materials and renewable energy, features IoT solutions, connected products, Schneider Electric's journey in India, and a 'Green Yodha' Sustainability Zone. Deepak Sharma, Zone President – Greater India and MD & CEO, Schneider Electric India, emphasized the company's commitment to India's progress and sustainability.
Rajat Abbi, Vice-President- Global Marketing, Chief Marketing Officer, Schneider Electric India, noted the Yatra's focus on sustainable, digital, and next-gen automation solutions. It aligns with the company's marketing playbook of purpose, partnerships, planet, and performance.
Schneider Electric, with brands like L&T Electrical & Automation, Luminous, and AVEVA, leads in Energy management, NextGen automation, and Sustainability solutions. The Innovation Yatra aims to engage with India's diverse ecosystem, simplifying climate change awareness and creating Green Yodhas.
Before Hyderabad, the Yatra covered cities including Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and more. The journey will continue its mission to connect with citizens, corporates, farmers, institutions, and beyond, fostering a sustainable future.
