Samsung launches 'Solve for Tomorrow' program for youth innovation
Solve for Tomorrow 2024' features two distinct tracks: School Track and Youth Track, each focusing on specific themes

New Delhi: Samsung has announced the launch of the third edition of its CSR initiative, 'Solve for Tomorrow', in partnership with FITT IIT-Delhi, the Ministry of Electronics & IT, and the United Nations in India. The program aims to foster innovative thinking among India's youth.
'Solve for Tomorrow 2024' features two distinct tracks: School Track and Youth Track, each focusing on specific themes. The School Track targets students aged 14-17 with the theme "Community & Inclusion," while the Youth Track targets individuals aged 18-22 with the theme "Environment & Sustainability."
In the School Track, teams of up to five members can submit ideas focusing on empowering underprivileged groups and promoting social inclusion. The winning team declared the "Community Champion," will receive a grant of Rs 25 Lakh for prototype advancement.
For the Youth Track, teams can submit ideas on environmental protection and sustainability. The winning team declared the "Environment Champion," will receive a grant of Rs 50 Lakh for incubation at IIT-Delhi.
Both tracks offer hands-on training, mentoring, and technical support from industry experts. Semi-finalists receive grants for prototype development, and finalists receive grants for prototype enhancement along with Samsung products.
Registration for 'Solve for Tomorrow 2024' is open until May 31, 2024, on www.samsung.com/in/solvefortomorrow. The program, which originated in the US in 2010, operates in 63 countries worldwide and aims to engage over 2.3 million young people globally. Samsung's CSR vision, "Together for Tomorrow!
