Paisabazaar’s Free Credit Score Initiative Crosses 50 Mn Users

Paisabazaar, a leading digital marketplace for consumer credit, has reached a major milestone, with over 50 million consumers having checked their free credit score on its platform.
Launched in 2017, Paisabazaar’s free credit score initiative provides lifetime access to credit scores from multiple bureaus in seven languages. The platform has continually invested in technology to simplify credit tracking and offer insights on building credit health. According to Paisabazaar, 16 per cent of India’s active credit consumers have used its service to check their scores.
Naveen Kukreja, Co-founder & CEO of Paisabazaar, said, “Reaching 50 million consumers is a significant milestone, reaffirming the trust in our platform. Lack of credit awareness leads to high rejection rates, and our focus has been on empowering consumers to take charge of their credit health. We remain committed to enhancing financial literacy, improving access, and strengthening the overall credit ecosystem.”
As a lending marketplace, Paisabazaar serves a diverse range of credit consumers. For creditworthy users, it offers pre-approved loan offers and multiple lending choices. Meanwhile, its ‘credit improvement program’ supports individuals with low scores through personalised advisory services, credit rectification, and comprehensive credit health reports.
Radhika Binani, Chief Product Officer, said, “Continuous innovation is at the heart of our efforts to deepen credit awareness. Our technology simplifies complex credit data, making tracking and improvement more engaging for Bharat. Our goal is to build a credit-fit India, enabling responsible financial decisions.”
Paisabazaar’s initiative has helped 10.2 million consumers improve their credit scores within six months. Additionally, 18 million users with overdue payments have cleared outstanding debt after using its free credit score service.
