Amrapali Gan was appointed as the new CEO of OnlyFans on December 21.She was promoted to the position from her earlier role as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for OnlyFans.The new role adds her name to the list of Indian-borns heading top global companies.

Amrapali Gan has been making waves on social media since her promotion to the role of the new CEO of OnlyFans. The news broke on the same day last week, as the company's founder, Tim Stokely, who also ran it until now as its chief, stepped down from his position to pursue other endeavours. Result? Another Indian-born CEO of a company with over a billion-dollar valuation.

And social media is loving it. A Mumbai-born US citizen rising through the ranks in a global industry, right to the top, is not an everyday achievement. As the CEO of OnlyFans, Amrapali Gan has added her name to an elite list of Indian-born who have gone on to shape billion-dollar companies and their impacts.
