Merck Life Science signs MoU with CIFT for scientific project training

Hyderabad: Merck Life Science Private Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) Kochi, the only national center in India dedicated to conducting research across all areas related to fishing and fish processing.
This collaboration between Merck & ICAR-CIFT would help in accelerating scientific projects, methods of development, and workflow development mutually, enabling scientific demonstrations and training in the field of Food Safety, a media release states.
The MoU was signed by Dr Veena P Panicker, Director BioMonitoring, Merck Life Science, and Dr George Ninan, Director Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) in the presence of dignitaries such as Dr C O Mohan, Principal Investigator, ICAR-CIFT, Dr Zynudheen AA Principal Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, Dr Pankaj Kishore, Senior Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, Dr Niladri Sekhar Chatterjee, Senior Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, Dr Ranjit Kumar Nadella, Scientist, ICAR-CIFT. Besides, there were a few other members present to witness the MoU signing ceremony.
