Mumbai: Hitachi Vantara has invested over $200,000 in a product showcase program for its India partners. This program allows partners with Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform devices to offer Centre of Excellence (COE) capabilities to customers at their locations.

Today, Hitachi Vantara, the data storage, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud management subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., announced the launch of its partner program in India. This program provides selected partners with product showcase machines of the Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) E590 device. With these machines installed, partners can deliver quicker COE capabilities to local customers. This includes conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) on customers’ unique solutions, validated with on-site customer data, and increasing the number of workshops conducted.

In addition to the machine investments, Hitachi Vantara is offering marketing and sales support for the program at partner sites. This includes setting up standees, social media promotions on LinkedIn, and deploying Hitachi Vantara sales representatives for lead generation. Other support tactics include partner bootcamps, customer events, and incentivized product bundles aimed at enhancing revenue and lead generation for Hitachi Vantara’s partners.

Hemant Tiwari, Managing Director, India, Hitachi Vantara, expressed enthusiasm for the program, emphasizing its contribution to the company's Centre of Excellence capabilities worldwide. He highlighted the program's role in empowering partners to serve customers effectively in refreshing, upgrading, and innovating their data infrastructure solutions. This initiative underscores Hitachi Vantara’s commitment to cultivating partnerships and driving sales growth collaboratively.

Partners participating in the program will collaborate with their Hitachi team to develop a business plan outlining commitments for POCs, tech events, workshops, targeted audience numbers, participating customers, and revenue plans.

Selected partners, including CTAP and PC Solutions in the North, Orisenc Technologies Private Limited in the South, and Hitachi Systems India Pvt. Ltd. at the national level, have already acquired and installed Hitachi VSP E90 machines in their data centres.

Devendra Taneja, Founder & CEO, PC Solutions, expressed excitement about the program, stating that it aligns with their growth objectives. Taneja highlighted the comprehensive support provided by Hitachi Vantara, including boot camps and incentives, which reinforce their confidence in mutual success. The placement of demo machines at their site enhances their ability to showcase solutions to customers and drive revenue growth for Hitachi Vantara in India.

Following the installation of machines across India, product showcases, demonstrations, and POCs have commenced. The program is expected to expand with more partners expressing interest, especially with the upcoming release of next-generation platforms.
