Paresh Shetty is the CEO of Arya Omnitalk and Syntel by Arvind. The former is a joint venture between the Lalbhai Group and the JM Baxi Group. Shetty says it is India’s top walkie-talkie service provider with a footprint in all metro and mini-metros, and with a subscriber base of over 55,000.
Syntel by Arvind, Shetty highlights, is a leading ICT solutions provider, specialising in audio-visual system integration, IP surveillance, enterprise communication, security solutions, and network infrastructure.
In an exclusive conversation with Bizz Buzz, Shetty emphasised the synergy between the two companies in delivering tech-driven solutions for connectivity and communication. How has the growth of your company been in the last few years?
Arya Omnitalk and Syntel Telecom have been consistently growing and setting new benchmarks in the marketplace and delivering unparalleled solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our broad spectrum of solutions addresses various aspects of connectivity and communication. While we are pioneers in traditional radio networks, we have now launched some exciting cutting-edge technologies like Motorola Wave PTX-based POC solutions, offering boundary-less communication across PAN India. Our POC Solutions works even in remote areas.
We have also introduced the latest Motorola’s body-worn cameras and HALO sensors in India that will help in empowering national and local authorities, schools, offices, and industrial setups to manage critical situations effectively by recording any incident and stream it over Wi-Fi and use built in GPS to track the location. Our Motorola walkie-talkies and Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) solutions further enhance communication, safety, and efficiency. These innovations foster a safer, more connected India through reliable and advanced technology.
In our Syntel range of solutions, we have ensured many of the small and large companies in India are powered with the latest technology hardware that supports India-centric challenges and create a unified environment for communications with features that have practical relevance in the India scenario. For example, instead of putting a security camera with live feed, we have put some intelligence into it which makes it smart like it alerting when it is required, be it from safety of kids, elders or protection from intruders by using features like smart human detection, motion detection or human tracking.
Do you have any other solutions?
We have a range of Syntel solutions in the space of enterprise communication. We have brought all the latest global partners in India and also have our own Make in India devices. Our Audio-Visual System Integration (AVSI) division has ensured many of our hospitality, education and corporate offices of our customers have the latest Boardroom, Audio, Video Wall including interactive panels. Hence Syntel as next-gen system integration brings technology implemented for any size of customers, including their Wi-Fi, switches, and network integration.
What has been your strategy so far? Would you continue with the same or fine-tune it to the changed business environment?
Our strategy thus far has been around key areas of partnerships and collaborations with global giants like Motorola to introduce cutting-edge technologies like HALO Sensors and Body Worn Cameras. We are investing in R&D for both Syntel’s security surveillance portfolio and Arya Omnitalk’s IoT [internet of things] portfolio.
We are also focusing on underserved or niche markets where demand for high-quality audio-visual system integration, reliable nationwide radio services, smart IoT devices, and applications is growing, including security and surveillance solutions. Our customer-first approach has also yielded us great customer retention, as we provide proactive high-quality services.
Where do you want to see your group in terms of both topline and bottom line?
Our goal of doubling growth every three years drives us to continuously develop and enhance our technology solutions. We want Arya Omnitalk to be recognized not only for its contributions to national development but also for laying a foundation of sustainable and innovative practices that will benefit the nation.
