Twitter handle of AP Industries Minister hacked

The twitter account of Andhra Pradesh Industries and IT Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy has been hacked.

The Minister lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police on Saturday.

An aide of the Minister told Bizz Buzz that a complaint had been lodged to identify and punish the hackers. Unwanted material was posed on his account a couple of days ago but it was ignored presuming it as a result of a technical glitch.

The Minister, who is very active in social media uploading various developments with regard to investments in AP, through his Twitter account@MekapatiGoutham stated that "viewers & followers kindly note that my official Twitter account@MekapatiGoutham has been compromised by some unscrupulous elements & they are posting unrelated & offensive material."

Reddy said "kindly ignore them & apologies for the inconvenience. Filing a complaint with@APPOLICE100." He put it on his account at 8.51 am following which when contacted his aide confirmed the lodging a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police to track down the hackers.
