Hitting upon a novel idea, Vicky Dodani, a young entrepreneur, founded Agrizy, a tech-first platform to bridge the processed agri supply chain in 2021. The platform connects the agri suppliers, agri processors and buyers of agri products across food and non-food categories to optimally discover and fulfil transactions.

He established Agrizy with the mission of revolutionizing India's agri-food processing industry and addressing the specific challenges encountered by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within this sector. He says, "Our primary goal is to empower these SMEs by providing them with state-of-the-art technological solutions and comprehensive support services"

In an exclusive interview to Bizz Buzz, he said through the utilisation of advanced technologies, Agrizy aims to bridge the gaps faced by SMEs, including issues with global standards compliance, limited technological infrastructure, difficulty in expanding their customer base, and restricted access to working capital. He said they aspire to be pioneers in the agri-food processing field, transforming the industry and enabling SMEs to flourish in an ever-changing market. Painting a rosy picture about the fast developing food processing industry, he said it will have a major share as India's consumer spending is expected to grow to $6 trillion by 2030
