What are your achievements as a philanthropist?

I am the Managing Director of FinDoc Investment Private Limited, a first-generation entrepreneur, an angel investor, and a philanthropist based out of Ludhiana.

I started my philanthropic journey in 2014 when I joined Samvedna as a trustee. With my unwavering commitment to social welfare, I have worked tirelessly towards improving the lives of those in need.

Tell us more about Samvedna Trust and your contributions.

Samvedna Trust was founded by three friends in 2009 to serve humanity. The late Shri Ravinder Arora, the trust's past president, and his team performed admirable services. Samvedna Trust (Regd.) took a head start in October 2009. This NGO, which is primarily run by a charity, is working round the clock for the poor and the needy.

The trust has a total number of eleven Ambulances, three Shav Vahans, and four mortuary body freezers.

We started by providing free of cost ambulance services to needy patients to provide them with SOS medical services and ensuring that they reach the nearest hospitals in time. The Covid-19 pandemic made us realize that the government and the administration also require support during those unprecedented times, so we provided medical staff to the administration along with providing PPE kits, masks, and other necessary equipment. We also organized vaccination camps with the support of the administration and were able to provide Covid vaccination to 1,00,000 people. We also sponsor the education of 146 underprivileged students in various schools across the country.

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs?

Be humble and learn. When it comes to qualities such as confidence, it can be easy to put on a front and come across as a strong entrepreneurial character. However, knowledge is something that you need to know for sure. Good entrepreneurs have inquiring minds and never stop learning or asking questions.

What are your plans for the next five years?

I want to provide state-of-the-art services and platforms which can be customized as per needs of the user that will help them manage their wealth better. In the next three to four years, we plan to get listed. Findoc looks ahead to expand its services in the South Indian cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. Along with local presence, we also have ambitions to go global and many initiatives have already started around the same. The dream is to see Findoc as one of the top 10 places for customers to create their wealth.
