It gives me immense pleasure to place on record that Bizz Buzz has turned three and is entering the fourth year of its existence today. In the three eventful years since its launch on a modest note on November 18, 2020, Bizz Buzz has made commendable strides in business journalism, and beyond, thanks to our small, but dedicated, team.
In the year gone by, we took a monumental forward step by launching the print edition of Bizz Buzz.
Your beloved business daily is currently being circulated across Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh. Despite the explosion of online media, the printed word still enjoys a high degree of credibility, and patronisation, which will continue into the foreseeable future. With the print edition, Bizz Buzz expanded its horizons and is now available in all three formats – epaper, online and print.
Further, I am proud to announce that one of the articles published in Bizz Buzz was the topic of discussion in a class of the India Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A). The article headlined ‘The real rate of return concept helps understand the purchasing power of money’ was published in Bizz Buzz on October 9 this year.
Prof. Prashant Das, Associate Professor of Finance, IIM-A, who read the article, asked its author Shivam to explain the difference between savings and investment to his students, which the author did quite commendably. It is a prestigious honour coming from the centre of excellence for Bizz Buzz. Undoubtedly, this will encourage our diligent team, which never compromises on delivering quality output day in and day out, to corner more such glories in the days ahead.
Under our popular Bizz Talk column, in which we feature a half-page interview every day, we have, till date, published more than 800 interviews of newsmakers of the day, including startup founders, CEOs, investors, bankers and economists, among others. One should understand that it is a very challenging task to produce a half-page interview every day, six days a week. But we have been doing that uninterruptedly for the last three years and we will continue to do it with renewed zeal. Bizz Talk has almost become our USP.
Another feather in Bizz Buzz’s cap is a book brought out by B.N. Kumar, our columnist on politics. The book is a compilation of the articles published in his Bizz Buzz column, Politricks. The book received good reviews, which is a worthy recognition for the author and us.
Meanwhile, building a media brand is like playing a Test match, which needs an unwavering determination to stay in the middle, and perseverance. That’s precisely what we are doing now. I am confident that the day is not far-off when Brand Bizz Buzz carves a niche for itself on India’s business media landscape. After all, hope springs eternal.
Under the able, encouraging and visionary guidance of our promoters, senior management of Kapil Group and with the active support of the Hyderabad Media House management, we are hopeful of scaling newer heights in the coming years with qualitative content that ranks among the best in the industry.
We dream big, we dream right, and we will not rest until we realise that dream...
We wish a momentous third anniversary to all our stakeholders, who have been integral to the rising popularity of Bizz Buzz.
