Poco M4 Pro virtual launch today with 50 MP primary camera

The Poco M4 Pro will be unveiled at a virtual event today, i.e. November 9. It will get a 6nm chipset, 33W charging support and a 50-megapixel primary camera.

According to the teasers, Poco M4 Pro will be a 5G enabled device. It will be powered by a 6nm chipset, likely to be the MediaTek Dimensity 810. Along with this, Poco M4 Pro will get 33W fast charging, a 50-megapixel camera system and a stereo speaker setup. Renders hint towards a slightly tweaked design on the Poco M4 Pro, but Poco is yet to confirm it. The Poco M4 Pro will be unveiled at 5:00 pm IST via a virtual event. Here's everything you can expect from the Poco M4 Pro.

The Poco M4 Pro will take over the midrange Poco M3 Pro. Rumours suggest that the smartphone will be a rebadged Redmi Note 11 that launched in China recently. The design of the Poco M4 Pro was revealed in a couple of recent leaks.

The smartphone appears in a slightly tweaked design from what we have seen on the Redmi Note 11. While the camera module seems to be similar to the Redmi Note 11, it is wrapped in a huge black rectangular background. A big Poco logo also resides inside this background. There's a centred punch-hole display on the front of the smartphone. The top of the smartphone can be seen featuring an IR blaster, a speaker and a microphone. Whereas at the bottom, it appears to have another mic, a speaker and a Type-C port.

According to the teasers revealed by Poco, the smartphone will ship with a 6nm chipset. This is expected to Dimensity 810 chipset, which appeared on the Redmi Note 11. A previous GeekBench listing revealed that the smartphone would get 8GB of RAM. The smartphone scored 603 in single-core and 1,779 in multi-core in the GeekBench listing.

The confirmed specs corroborate with details of Redmi Note 11. So the rumour may come to be true. Keeping that in mind, we can expect the Poco M4 Pro 5G to feature a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It could get up to 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage. In the camera department, it may get a 50-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. While on the front, it could get a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies. Finally, Poco M4 Pro may sport a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
