Telangana Budget 2024: Govt Presents Budget With Outlay of Rs 2,91,159 Crore
The State Cabinet chaired by CM Revanth Reddy approved the budget for 2024-25 in the Assembly.

Telangana Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka presented the state budget in the Assembly on Thursday at noon.
He introduced a budget of Rs 2,91,159 crore for the financial year 2024-25, which includes Rs 2.21 lakh crore in revenue and Rs 33,487 crore allocated for capital expenditures.
The State Cabinet chaired by CM Revanth Reddy approved the budget for 2024-25 in the Assembly.
A broad discussion regarding the budget is set for July 27, after which the Chief Minister will address questions from the Opposition on the same day. Debates concerning grants are planned for July 28 and 29, with the Finance Minister delivering responses on July 30.

Women Empowerment Scheme: Rs 50.41 crore
Home Department: Rs 9,564 crore
Health: Rs 11,468 crore
IT Sector: Rs 774 crore
Water Resources Development: Rs 22,301 crore
R&D (Research and Development) and Biotechnology: Rs 5,790 crore
Labor: Rs 2,762 crore
Education: Rs 21,292 crore
Transport and Infrastructure: Rs 16,410 crore
Forests and Environment: Rs 1,064 crore

BC Welfare: Rs 9,200 crore
ST Welfare: Rs 17,056 crore
