Narendra Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term on June 9, at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi after winning the majority of seats in recently concluded Parliamentary elections 2024.

Accompanying him, 72 Members of Parliament also took their oaths as Ministers. Subsequently, the BJP government then announced portfolios for 31 ministers, including 5 Ministers of State (Independent Charge) and other important positions
