Speaker performs bhoomi puja for construction of new govt medical college

Vikarabad: Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad on Wednesday performed a bhoomi puja for the construction of new government medical college to be built at a cost of Rs 235 crore in the Vikarabad district headquarters.

Later, the Speaker inspected the classrooms of the medical college and the student facilities being provided at the temporary buildings in Ananthagiri Hills.

Municipal Chairperson Manjula Ramesh, District Collector Pratheek Jain, District SP Narayana Reddy, senior officials, elected representatives, other senior officials and staff of the medical college participated in the programme.
