Hyderabad: Bunge India Private Limited, a leading player in the edible oils market, has announced the expansion of its home-grown refined sunflower oil brand, Fiona, in Telangana.

Fiona oil contains essential vitamins A, D, and E, crucial for maintaining overall well-being. However, many are unaware that a significant amount of these vitamins get destroyed during the process of cooking, and never reach the food.

Recognising this, Bunge India launched Fiona oil with the new VitoProtect formula, making it the better choice for cooking. This unique concept allows up to a remarkable 50 per cent higher transfer of vitamins from the oil to your food, compared to ordinary sunflower oils in the market. This year, the brand has extended its reach with the launch of this nutrient- focussed -cooking oil in the Telangana market.

Expressing his excitement about bringing the new product to Telangana, Vinay Shrivastava- vice president and business head, B2C, Bunge India, said, "At Bunge India, our dedication to delivering superior products with a focus on excellence and safety is demonstrated by the launch of this oil. Our decision to expand into Telangana comes on the back of several key reasons including the fact that it is one of the largest markets for Sunflower Oil and has been witnessing steady increase in its consumer demands. We are excited to bring the remarkable benefits of this oil to the State and are optimistic it will be embraced in this growing market.’’

About the launch, renowned Telugu Actress Lavanya Tripathi said, "I’m thrilled to be a part of Fiona Refined Sunflower Oil's launch. For me, cooking is all about healthy and delicious food for my family, and Fiona’s VitoProtect formula makes it a better choice for me. I am confident that Fiona will become the star ingredient in every household of Telangana."
