Sreejesh Supports Vinesh Phogat, Urges Athletes to Follow Rules After Disqualification

Former India hockey player PR Sreejesh came out in support of Vinesh Phogat, who faced disqualification from the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Praising Vinesh for her strength during tough times, PR Sreejesh remarked that the silver medal was unjustly taken from her.

He further mentioned that he wasn’t sure how he would have reacted if he had been in Vinesh’s position.

Additionally, he stated that this should serve as a lesson for Indian athletes to adhere strictly to rules and not give any leeway to governing bodies.

Praising her efforts and hard work, Sreejesh expressed hope for a positive judgment in favor of the wrestler.
