Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has granted approval to prosecute Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in relation to the MUDA scam under anti-corruption legislation.

Land Fraud Allegations

Siddaramaiah is accused of orchestrating the fraudulent allocation of land plots to his wife, Parvathi, involving a swap of less valuable land for prime plots.

Opposition Accusations

Opposition claims Siddaramaiah illegally acquired Dalit land, with the scam estimated at Rs 3,000 crore.

A complaint by Snehamayi Krishna alleges forgery and illegal land deals by MUDA, implicating Siddaramaiah, his wife, and his brother-in-law.
