‘Brand India is now a force to be reckoned with’

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Chapter of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) organised a session on, Magnetic Brands, in the city on Wednesday. During the session, Luxury Brand Story Craftsman Arvind Vijay Mohan spoke about the changing brand image of India, and the luxury products market in India and globally.
On how the world perceives the country now, Mohan said that Brand India is a now a “force to reckoned with.” The whole world is acknowledging brand India and its growth in the global map. Today, the International view and image of India is very positive, progressive, and the most happening, he added.
Further, in conversation with Priya Gazdar, Chairperson, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Hyderabad, he spoke about the brand narratives of Rolls Royce Classic, Apple, and many other luxury brands and their success formula.
“Luxury watch brand, Patek Philippe is known for producing high-end watches. Owning this watch is considered highly by many as it is the most prestigious luxury watch brand. Coming to Rolls Royce, they also never advertise or participate in any auto expos of the world. The auto brand plays on the psychology of exclusivity, and positions itself as more than just a car. It is a symbol of status, elegance, and exclusivity.”
In her opening remark, Priya Gazdar spoke about Guccio Gucci and the story behind his brand. “100 years after he left Savoy, the hotel commemorated their shared legacy by displaying the Gucci Aria Collection on its premises. As of 2024, Gucci is reckoned as the fourth most valuable luxury brand worldwide,” Gazdar said.
