Lokesh appears in court for defamation case

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh appeared in court on Thursday regarding a Rs 75-crore defamation case he filed against Telugu daily Sakshi during the YSRCP regime.

The case stems from a report alleging Rs 25 lakh was spent by Lokesh on snacks and tea at Visakhapatnam International Airport’s cafeteria during the TDP rule in 2014-19. Lokesh, son of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had claimed that the report contained false and fabricated information.
