On Wednesday, the price of 24 carat gold slipped to Rs 70,850 per 10 gms, down by Rs 10 from the previous day.

The price of silver also declined to Rs 87,900 on Wednesday, down by Rs 100 from the previous day.
Internationally, the COMEX price of gold increased 0.39% to $24,16.70 per ounce.
