At the interbank foreign exchange market, the Indian rupee opened at 83.59 against the greenback, appreciating 10 paise from its previous close.

On Tuesday, the rupee settled at 83.63 against the American currency, depreciated 9 paise.

Factors such as differentials in interest rates, differentials in inflation, Current Account Deficits, public debt, and Terms of Trade influence currency exchange rates.
