Sensex climbs over 750 points, Reliance Top Gainer
Most indices showed positive performance, with Nifty Metal, Nifty Auto, Nifty Oil and Gas, and Nifty IT at the forefront.
On Friday, Indian stock indices opened positively in early trade, with the Sensex climbing over 789 points and the Nifty rallying 0.98 points.
The broad market indices saw a positive opening with the MidCap and SmallCap indexes rising over 0.89 percent and 0.90 percent, respectively.
Most indices showed positive performance, with Nifty IT, Nifty Metal, Nifty Auto, and Nifty Oil and Gas at the forefront.
The BSE Sensex experienced gains across the board, with IT stocks leading the way. Companies such as Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, and HCL Tech all registered an increase of 2 percent each.
India Cements, Coal India, Vodafone Idea, HINDPETRO, and BPCL were the top gainers on the Nifty. L&T Finance, Ipca Labs, Shriram Finance, M&M Financial, and Kotak Mahindra were the losers.
