Brent crude trading at $73.12/bbl

Crude oil prices on Thursday increased Rs11 to Rs5,836 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for October delivery traded higher Rs11 or 0.19 per cent at Rs5,836 per barrel in 7,497 lots. Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
