Rockwell vaccine freezers for DRL

Hyderabad: ROCKWELL Industries, a refrigerator manufacturer, has collaborated with Dr Reddy's to supply its WHO PQS certified Covid vaccine freezers to enable storage of Sputnik V vaccine across India.

The manufacturer has developed the vaccine freezers, which have been tested in authorised laboratories in Denmark and obtained the certification for two different sizes. The freezers can handle harsh usage conditions in rural locations and maintain desired temperature range, thus breaking the vaccine cold chain hurdle.

"Our technology ensures that Sputnik V's storage management at vaccine centres meets the stringent refrigeration standards set forth by manufacturers.

Rockwell has closed deals for over 750 such freezers with various hospitals and institutions," said Ashok Gupta, Managing Director, Rockwell Industries. In addition, Rockwell will provide end to end logistics and after sales service support for the vaccine freezers across India.
