Sensex, Nifty Open at Record Levels

On Friday, the Indian stock indices opened at a record high during early trade, with the Sensex and Nifty up 0.67 and 0.65 per cent, respectively

The BSE Sensex was up 558.35 points at 83,506.58, while the NSE Nifty was up 166 points at 25,543.50.

Indian Indices opened higher following the US FED rate cut led by the IT sector.

NTPC, United Breweries, Nestle, Bharti Airtel, and ICICI Lombard were the top gainers.

Vodafone Idea, INDUS TOWERS, Chambal Fertilisers, REC, and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. were the top losers.
