Oil cos’ pre-tax profit soaring to Rs 1trn
Crude oil prices rose by Rs18 to Rs6,106 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was up by 0.30 per cent at $74.37 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.13 per cent higher at $78.60 per barrel in New York.
