Apollo Tyres wins AP QC contest 2023

Vijayawada: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Andhra Pradesh organised the 36th edition of its State-level quality circle competition for 2023 in Tirupati, where Apollo Tyres Ltd won. The Triggering Titans QC team from Apollo Tyres Ltd claimed victory in the competition. The second position went to the Seshadri QC team from Electrosteel Castings Ltd, while the Super Hero's QC team from Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd secured the third prize

A total of 26 teams from AP competed in the competition. CII has been continually advocating the need for increased attention to quality and productivity by industry and spreading the message of promoting quality and creating the need for total quality management. CII said QC is a vital TQM tool. They play a very important role in involving a wide cross-section of employees in an organisation for improving quality through participation and motivating workers to exchange ideas, views and share experiences on QC and various approaches to problem-solving. The three winners of the State level competition will now compete at the southern regional level competition and subsequently the regional winners will compete at the CII national QC circle convention.
