NASA Warns as Two Large Asteroids Approach Earth
The cosmic event that will take place on September 18 offers an opportunity for scientists to study them closely.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is preparing for a cosmic event.
Asteroids 2024 RZ10 and 2024 RZ10 will make close approaches to Earth, however, they will not hurt our planet. The cosmic event will offer an opportunity for scientists to study them closely.
2024 RZ10:
2024 RZ10, measuring about 110 feet across, is considered hazardous because of its size and speed.
Asteroid 2024 RZ10 will pass Earth at a safe distance of 3,330,000 kilometers, which is also beyond the orbit of the Moon.
2024 RZ10:
Another asteroid 2024 RZ10 is about 44 feet in diameter. It will come closer to Earth than the first asteroid. It will pass Earth at a distance of 1,150,000 kilometers and still poses no threat to OUR PLANET.
Both these asteroids will pass Earth on September 14 and NASA's JPL is tracking potentially hazardous asteroids.
