A GIEAIA delegation discusses PSGIC issues with DFS official

Mumbai, Aug 30: A team of GIEAIA of Class 1, 3 & 4 consisting of Trilok Singh, Tridib Mukherjee, Anita Khanna,.Manikant Gupta and Anuradha Dwivedi met Prashant Kumar Goyal, Joint Secretary, Govt of India, DFS and raised the issue of inordinate delay in the wage revision of PSGICs, uniform improvement of the family pension @ 30 per cent, increase in the employer's contribution to the NPS @14 per cent and other benefits in line with LIC & urged him to expedite the above issues & to direct GIPSA Companies to initiate the talks on wage revision and other benefits with unions & associations of the PSGICs.

Talking to Bizz Buzz, Trilok Singh, general secretary, GIEAIA, said, “GIEAIA strongly persuaded the issue of Merger of PSGI companies, adequate recruitment, Withdrawal of GST on life and medical insurance premiums, Formation of Regulatory Authority on Hospitals & to take immediate corrective measures to improve the health of the industry.”

The Joint Secretary of DFS gave a patient hearing and interacted with GIEAIA delegation for more than half an hour. He acknowledged our concerns & assured to look into the matter.
