Hyderabad: A virtual session was recently organised by Young Ficci Ladies Organisation (YFLO) Hyderabad chapter to understand the legal challenges in the corporate world.
YFLO Hyderabad chairperson Deepthi Reddy and committee hosted the programme.
Anshuman Sharma, giving a presentation on "women entrepreneurship" highlighted the facts that women wages were low in India and that 75 per cent of Indian women were into farming and faced several challenges." He further explained article 14 and 15 of the Indian Constitution prohibit gender discrimination. His slides encapsulated the 4 major sectors of legal matters, namely "workplace management, regulatory, IP protection and financial" which would help structure the session.
Sharma highlighted the issue of "standardisation of legal services in the country." In terms of helping smaller startups with budget constraints, his advice was "to go by reference and promote upcoming lawyers."
