Tata, Mahindra announces price cut on SUVs

It’s time for exciting SUV discounts as leading automakers Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra have rolled out significant price reductions on certain car models.

People can now take advantage of special offers on popular models, with substantial savings on flagship SUVs.

Celebrating its historic milestone of selling over 2 million SUVs on Indian roads, India’s leading SUV manufacturer Tata Motors has slashed the prices of its SUVs under the ‘King of SUVs’ festival offer.

The price reduction applies to its flagship SUVs, the Harrier and Safari, with customers now eligible for benefits of up to Rs 1.4 lakh.

This offer is available on bookings made until July 31, 2024. In May 2024, Tata Motors also reduced the price of its Nexon SUV by Rs 1 lakh. After the price cut, the Harrier is now priced at Rs 14.99 lakh, while the Safari is available for Rs 15.49 lakh.

“We have revised the starting prices of our flagship SUVs, the Harrier (₹14.99 lakh) and the Safari (₹15.49 lakh), and extended benefits of up to ₹1.4 lakh on popular SUV variants. Regarding electric vehicles, the Nexon.ev now offers never-before-seen benefits of up to ₹1.3 lakh, making it the most accessible it has ever been,” said Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd.

He further added that customers buying the Punch.ev will also receive benefits of up to ₹30,000.

Likewise, Mahindra & Mahindra is also celebrating the third anniversary of its XUV700 SUV with a special price cut.

The top model is now available from Rs 19.49 lakh, a limited-time discount offer starting July 10 and lasting four months. This price reduction marks the production of the 200,000th XUV700 unit. The company also introduced two new colors - Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna - bringing the total color options to nine.
