VRV Asia Pacific exports liquid oxygen tanks to US space agency

VRV Asia Pacific Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Chart Industries, US, achieved a significant milestone this week by exporting a super-sized liquid oxygen storage tanks to a prominent US private space company. This colossal storage vessel, with an awe-inspiring size of 37-metre length, 6-metre diameter, and weighing 200 tonne, showcases VRV’s engineering prowess and dedication to advancing cryogenic technology.

Located in Sri City, VRV is a global leader in manufacturing high-volume cryogenic storage tanks and meeting the unique demands of the aerospace industry. The tank, a fusion of cutting-edge engineering and precision manufacturing, serves as a critical component in space exploration infrastructure, contributing to the storage and transportation of liquid oxygen essential for space missions.
