Economic Offences Branch of CBI, Mumbai, gets Best Branch trophy

Mumbai,The Economic Offences Branch (EOB) of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Mumbai, was awarded the Late SK Palsania Memorial Trophy for Best Branch at an Investiture Ceremony organised by the CBI at its headquarters in Delhi on August 12. Anti-Corruption Bureau, CBI, Chandigarh and EOB, CBI, Chennai jointly received the Late HC Singh Memorial Trophy for Runner up Branch. Sixty officers of the bureau also received police medals for meritorious service. The trophies and medals were presented by R Venkataramani, Ld Attorney General of India, at the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Venkataramani congratulated the medal winners and their families. Praveen Sood, Director, CBI also congratulated the medal winners and their families.

The event was attended by senior officers of the CBI and the family members of the medal winners.
