CFOs are backbone of organisations: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: If CFOs are strong the organisations will be strong then the Indian economy will grow in-turn the India will grow, the Finance Minister T Harish Rao said at CII Telangana’s fourth edition of ‘CFO Conclave 2023’.

The CFO Conclaveconducted on Friday with the theme ‘Transcending New Frontiers: Technology, Sustainability and Governance’ where Finance Minister said the CFO's are backbone of an organisation and these like platform will definitely strength the organisations by sharing the views each other.

The Minister said CFO's should not only look after the finances, balance sheets, loans and repayments but also implementing best practices and ideas will strengthening the organisations.

Harish Rao said that the Telangana had developed in many sectors with the adoption of technology and implementing good governance in the State. He also said how the government has implemented technology in various government schemes especially the State finance department transferring the funds through Direct Beneficiary Transfer and good governance in bringing transparency like Dharani portal.

The Minister urged the CFO’s to come up with ideas for development of state. He also said that the government is open for resolving any issues facing by industrialists.

The Minister concluded by asking the industrialists to work together with the government for better State and better Country .

CII Telangana Chairman, C Shekhar Reddy, said the body will be there for any suggestions in easy of doing business and cost of business in tabular form and after brainstorming will be taken it to government for consideration.
