Pune, Shashank Kumar,Co-founder & CEO - DeHaat, the visionary behind an agrotech platform for small farmers, has asked today’s youth to be the change makers by solving society's challenges through entrepreneurship.

Addressing the Induction of DY Patil International University, Akurdi, Pune on August 10, he shared his profound philosophy. He emphasized the need to approach challenges from a societal perspective and encouraged proactive efforts to forge transformative solutions.

Drawing from his entrepreneurial journey, Shashank advocated for a ceaseless pursuit of knowledge and a growth-oriented mindset, motivating the young generation to pioneer ahead of their time.

The students gained insight into the various pillars and departments of the DYPIU family, functioning cohesively to elevate the university and establish a nurturing environment for every student.

Earlier, addressing the Induction in the University on August 08, Akshat Saxena, Co-founder - ePayLater, in his capacity as the chief guest, emphasized the nurturing of an entrepreneurial spirit. His address underscored the importance of fostering innovation, creativity, and a forward-looking mindset among individuals. Nestled amidst the green expanse of DYPIU's campus, this event promotes innovative thinking and contributes towards the nation's digital future. A diverse congregation of students from various streams, including B.Tech-C.S.E., B.C.A., BBA, MBA, B. Design, B.A. JMC, Bioengineering, Biotechnology and their parents, graced the convocation ceremony.

Guided by an unwavering vision, Prof Prabhat Ranjan, the Founder Vice-Chancellor of DYPIU, aspired to create a research-driven institution that leads the charge in the digital future. Reflecting on the journey, he stated, "Five years ago, we dreamt of establishing a research-led university, focused on the digital future and responsive to fast-changing technology scenarios. The University has not only realized this dream but also set new benchmarks, exceeding our expectations."

DY Pratisthan Trustee, Tejas S. Patil, in his address, explained about the journey of the University since its inception. A part of the renowned DY Patil group, boasting over 200 institutions, DYPIU offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. These programs blend essential traditional knowledge with the latest technologies, providing students with a holistic and future-oriented education to meet the demands of our evolving world.
