What is the founder’s vision and the unique story behind Intozi?

Intozi was founded in 2019, born from a clear vision inspired by a real-world problem encountered by Naresh, my co-founder. He observed a significant revenue leakage in his friend's startup, caused by unauthorized sales transactions. This issue sparked the idea of automating customer identification through video analytics to prevent such financial losses.

With a background in advanced technologies such as computer vision, specifically through work on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Naresh was well-equipped to delve into the potential applications of video analytics. When he shared his problem with me, it immediately resonated, leading to a collaborative effort to explore and address this challenge.

Together, we envisioned leveraging video analytics to solve business challenges across various sectors. At the time, no existing solutions effectively addressed the specific issue they aimed to solve, prompting them to develop an alternative. Despite limited resources, we spent months creating a prototype. By early 2019, our solution was successfully deployed, resulting in a significant reduction in revenue leakage at several outlets. This initial success strengthened our determination to further explore the applications of video analytics in real-world scenarios.
