Revanth for Green Pharma City in Mucherla

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government will now develop Green Pharma City at Mucherla on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Earlier BRS government planned for Hyderabad Pharma City in around 20,000 acres, but the new Congress government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy scrapped the project as it promised to do so in its election manifesto.

But going by the statement on Monday, the Revanth Reddy government seemed to have had a rethink on its decision to scrap the project. Instead, it will now develop a Green Pharma City.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to speed up the project now and design it in such a way that it will not pollute the environment.

He also directed the officials to use latest technology for the construction of the pharma city. Revanth Reddy further asked the officials to speed up the process of construction of roads and other infrastructure required for the development of the pharma city.
