AI will define the way we live: Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad: The Telangana government is confident of placing the State at the heart of the global AI (artificial intelligence) innovation, solidifying Telangana as the technological powerhouse, Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu said.

Addressing the gathering at the Global AI Summit he said, “We stand at a threshold of a new era, where AI will redefine the way we live, we work, and we dream. As everybody knows and everybody has seen, Telangana has always been a land of vision and progress. We will leap into the future by leading the way.”

The IT Minister assured implementation of stringent measures to prevent misuse of AI resulting in deep fakes, and AI-generated misinformation. He added, “While ensuring stringent data privacy and security measures the enormous government data widely available will be utilised to its fullest potential to fuel AI innovation.”

To bolster AI–led innovation, the government has primarily laid focus on skilling students with the knowledge of emerging technology. In this direction, the Government aims to equip senior secondary schools with introduction of an AI curriculum by the year 2027.
