The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has announced a temporary disruption in water supply across several areas of the city on Saturday due to essential maintenance work. Officials have urged residents in the affected zones to conserve water during the scheduled outage.
Authorities stated that the interruption is necessary as Telangana Transco is set to carry out repairs on the 132 KV bulk load feeder at the Nasarlapalli substation. The maintenance activity is expected to impact the water supply from Krishna Phase-1, Phase-2, and Phase-3 reservoirs for approximately six hours.

The water supply disruption will affect multiple neighborhoods across Hyderabad. The impacted regions include:
Central and South Hyderabad: Meeralam, Kishan Bagh, Shastripuram, Santosh Nagar, Vinay Nagar, Saidabad, Chanchalguda, Asmangarh, Yakutpura, Madannapet, Mahbub Mansion, Bhojagutta, Sheikhpet, Boggukunta, Afzalkunta, Shivam Road, Narayanguda, and Chilakalguda.
Western and Northern Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, Prashasan Nagar, Tarnaka, Lalapet, Boudhnagar, Maredpally, Railway quarters, MES, Cantonment, Prakash Nagar, Patigadda, Risat Nagar, Aliabad, Bandlaguda, Hasmatpet, Ferozeguda, Gautam Nagar, and Saheb Nagar.
