Water supply disruption in parts of Hyderabad on March 8 due to flyover construction
Residents in several areas of Hyderabad will face water supply disruptions and low-pressure water flow on March 8, from 6 AM to 6 PM, as per a statement issued by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB).
The disruption is due to the construction of a flyover near BHEL Junction by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). To facilitate the project, the existing PSC water supply pipeline in the area needs to be relocated, leading to temporary interruptions.
Affected Areas:
Disrupted Water Supply: Erragadda, S.R. Nagar, Ameerpet, KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Moosapet, Jagadgirigutta, RC Puram.
Low-Pressure Water Supply: Ashok Nagar, Jyoti Nagar, Lingampalli, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Madinaguda, Miyapur, Deepthi Sri Nagar, Biramguda, Aminpur, and Nizampet.
The HMWSSB has advised residents in the affected areas to use water judiciously and plan accordingly to minimize inconvenience.
