Telangana: Marking of Balakrishna and Jana Reddy's houses - The real reason
The houses of actor Balakrishna and senior Congress leader Jana Reddy in Telangana have recently been marked, raising questions and concerns. If land acquisition proceeds, Jana Reddy may have to give up around 700 yards, and Balakrishna's house could be affected by road widening. These markings also include the residences of several other celebrities, such as Allu Arjun's uncle.
For the past few months, bulldozers have been a common sight in Bhagyanagaram as Hydra officials crack down on illegal constructions. This has caused anxiety among city residents. Recently, the homes of Balakrishna on Road No. 45 in Filmnagar and Jana Reddy's residence have been marked. Contrary to some beliefs, these markings are not Hydra markings but indicate illegal constructions.
The Telangana government has ambitious plans to improve infrastructure around KBR Park. This includes building six underpasses and eight steel bridges at six key junctions, such as the Jubilee Hills check post, Road No. 45, Filmnagar, Maharaj Agrasen Circle, Cancer Hospital, and KBR Park entrance. This extensive project, which aims to be completed in a year and a half, will cost around 12 billion rupees. As part of this initiative, several residences and shops, including those of Balakrishna and Jana Reddy, have been marked for demolition.
