Night temperatures in Hyderabad dropped significantly, marking an unseasonably cold spell. The minimum temperature recorded early Friday was 16.2 degrees Celsius, which is 4.6 degrees Celsius below normal levels for this time of year. Meanwhile, daytime temperatures remained steady, with a maximum of 34.4 degrees Celsius recorded on Thursday, which aligns with seasonal norms.

According to meteorological data, the past 24 hours saw no recorded rainfall. Relative humidity was reported at 30 per cent in the morning and fell to 12 per cent by the evening on March 6. The city is experiencing dry conditions with a partly cloudy sky and haze forecasted for the coming days.

Meteorological projections indicate that Hyderabad will continue to witness a mix of cool nights and warm afternoons. Minimum temperatures are expected to fluctuate between 16 degrees Celsius and 19 degrees Celsius in the coming days, while maximum temperatures will range from 35 degrees Celsius to 36 degrees Celsius. The weather pattern suggests a consistent rise in daytime heat, whereas nighttime conditions remain colder than usual. The trend highlights a sharp contrast between day and night temperatures, creating an unseasonal dip in the early hours.
