And now, Sarath City Capital Mall and Nexus Mall have achieved a major milestone as they have been ranked among the top 25 most visited malls in the country.
The ranking were assigned by the Bengaluru-based geolocation startup, GeoIQ.
While Sarath City Capital Mall was ranked 9th for daily footfall as it attracted an average of 19,105 visitors per day, Nexus Mall managed to grab the 25th spot with an average of 14,493 daily visitors.
Malls in Delhi and Mumbai have dominated the list. Vegas Mall in Delhi secured the first rank with an average of 26,212 daily visitors.
The next on the list is V3S East Centre Mall with 24,282 visitors.
The third on the list is Mumbai’s Phoenix Marketcity. It attracted around 23,000 daily visitors.
The Bengaluru-based start-up made use of AI-powered tools to estimate mall footfalls.
It gathered anonymised location data from people stepping into malls to provide footfall statistics.
