Liquor shops to remain closed on March 14 for Holi in Hyderabad

In preparation for the Holi festival, Rachakonda Police Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu has issued an order mandating the closure of liquor outlets on March 14 from 6 AM to 6 PM.
As per the directive, all wine shops, toddy shops, and bars attached to restaurants within the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate will remain shut. However, bars operating within star hotels and registered clubs are exempt from this restriction.
Public Advisory for Holi Celebrations
Meanwhile, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty has issued a cautionary order urging citizens to celebrate responsibly. The directive strictly prohibits throwing colors or water on strangers, vehicles, or public places, as well as smearing colors on individuals without their consent.
Additionally, authorities have warned against groups moving aimlessly on vehicles, potentially causing inconvenience to others. These restrictions will be in effect from 6 AM on March 14 until 6 AM on March 15.
Residents are advised to adhere to the guidelines to ensure a safe and peaceful Holi celebration.
